Don Bosco English Medium High School was started by the Parish of Our Lady of Health, Saude Church, and Shirva in the year 1992, under the leadership of Very. Rev. Fr. Sylvester D’Souza, as its endeavor of realizing Christ through education. It also works towards imbibing good citizenship among the youth.

The student strength is 223 in all. Of these 100 are boys and 123 are girls. We have started extra curricular activities to our students. The students were taught Drawing, Bharatanatyam, Vocal, Budokan Karate as well as keyboard according to their interests. Specialized teachers were appointed to teach on Monday and Thursday in every week from 3 p.m to 4.30 p.m.

Mid-Day Meal Programme was started. Our students are provided with healthy vegetarian lunch at a reasonable rate.

Computer education is provided along with curricular subjects. There are three periods for each class. We have a band set with 65 members.

There is scout and guides wing in our school under the leadership of Mr. Vishwanath and Mrs. Irene Cardoza.
